KimboSlice Our Fishman,
Who art in rhombus,
W00kie be thy name.
These hippies come
With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
And lead us not into the Biscuits
But deliver us from Umphrey's

The last thing I would call myself is a non-sleeper. Seems the older I get the easier it is to wake up. I take sleep very seriously.

forbin1 Morning you fine folks..

Up way too early today ...survived the great flood with no damage to my bathroom yesterday ...a trip to the dmv might be happening ..Mrs forbin needs to renew her license..place isn't as bad..it's pretty convenient, there's about thirty different windows ..so it goes quickly ...

Hopefully the seasonal wook flu is almost done running it's course ...they really should drop Purell from the rafters instead of balloons at midnight ..

Edit : Re threes company ..i thought Terri the nurse was the hottest...

Love me some Furely action! I locked myself out of my house last night so I decided to kick my door in. Felt like a bad ass when the wood frame shattered all over. Then I realized I have to fix it ;)

Few hours of work and then a little shindig at my new place!

Wearing new pants- I got a Men's Wearhouse gift card for Christmas (50 bucks) and I bought a single pair of pants for 75 dollars. That place is so expensive and pretentious, but damn do I feel good in these pants.

Normally today would be awesome, given TGIF, but I have to work tomorrow, so it might as well be Thursday.

ivy_light Yo, kids!

Thanks, everyone, for your vibes and support!

Coolest "Behavioral Health Ward" moment: I met a 24-year-old Army vet with PTSD who's also a Ween fan. After the OT had been through with a guitar, he scooped it up and began playing the familiar chords of Roses. I belted it out while he played guitar and sang some harmony. Everyone loved it - staff and patients alike. Amazing coincidence and a connection I desperately needed to make.

@forbin1 - Sign'd. Terri was a wicked hot little brunette.

@cupuscakus - Now every time I think of you, I will think of this...

...which I recently obtained a mint copy of. HIIIIII-YAAAAA!!!

Hope all of you with wook flu (MSG variant) feel better. We seem to have dodged that bullet. I'll take it. Last year I was sick enough for two, maybe three, NYE runs. Yicky...

Got yet another extension on the paper, now due Feb 3. I owe a lot of people cases of Heady Topper.

I feel excited about getting back to work today, even if it is from home.

My two experiences going into Men's Wearhouse were interesting. The first time, I went in with a friend looking to get clothes for an interview, and I was already dressed pretty decently (I had just got off of work), so they immediately started talking to me, trying to sell me everything. But when I went yesterday, I was really cold, and wearing a Grateful Dead sweatshirt over my usual work clothes, and they ignored me. I guess they figure a Grateful Dead fan won't be dropping a lot of cash there.

mfhgreyboy Morning all. Still sick. Dragged my ass to work anyway. Although people here are already telling me to just go back home. At least I can cloister myself in my office and not worry about getting other people sick.

Is it possible that the sheer amount of energy and "stuff" you have to do for kids is actually impacting my ability to simply lie in bed and recover from being sick? Seriously, it's like I'm so trained to fix lunch, laundry, dishes, cleaning up the house, all that shit has become so ingrained that I simply CAN'T just let it go for a few days and get better? Seriously?

I used to be the absolute king of sitting around and doing absolutely nothing. It was my favorite thing in the world to do - nothing. Now when I do that, even if I'm sick, I feel all guilty and end up trying to take care of a bunch of crap that absolutely does NOT need to get taken care of right then.

Blah.

Hope you all have a great day!

Sign'd on cheap work clothes. For me the tailoring bill is usually so big that I can't be spending a lot on the clothes themselves. When I bought my suit I actually had a tailor tell me it wouldn't even be possible to get it to fit correctly.
