Good God, that DWD actually WAS as good as I remember it. And I really like 20 Years Later between that and the Carini.
Twenty Years Later was a very fitting song for me on the 30th. The highlight of the meetups for me (aside from finally meeting many of you) was running into an old friend who I had not seen or spoken to in well over a decade. We were real close once upon a time and saw probably 50 shows together in the mid 90's, but lost contact between many moves over the years. He walked into Hudson Yards and my jaw hit the floor. We pretty much picked up where we left off. It was great to see a show together after almost 20 years since we started and at least 15 since our last one together.

johnnyd I was so ok with missing the 30th. Combination of conscious decision and sort of playing it as it goes.
But I'm getting less and less ok with it. Motherfucker.
I might have to set aside the time to couchtour that whole thing on the tv screen and good speakers. Maybe invite some people over; make it a thing. That might prevent me from having a tantrum.
Hmm, yeah. Wheels in motion. Good idea.
Thanks for talking this through with me, guys. That really helped.

That guy in the gif reminded me of Alan Tudyk. If you haven't seen the British version of Death at a Funeral you should. He is absolutely hysterical.

Note: I never saw the American version so I can't comment on it.

Yah, but that was your wife's birthday too, right? Not even in contention!

Back is meh. The ride home and fresh round of shoveling re-fucked it. And I had to move some wood and do more shoveling tonight. But no hurry tonight so I took it easy and I think did the work in a way that will loosen it up rather than aggravate it.

More tiger balm...
