Morning all. Rough morning to be a Redskins fan. I'm a bit worried about our boy RG3, hopefully he can take this offseason to bring that leg back to its full powers.After a long transition from temp to hire at my job that resulted in a month without a paycheck and a lot of financial worries, I finally got paid today. It feels nice to finally have over $3 in my account.

@Slothberries awesome! Seriously though how sweet would that be? Actually between my dads place and mine we could have a killer prefest party and be up and first in line for the best camping spots. I guess I shouldn't get all excited just yet. Can't believe everything you read on PT despite their reputation for always having the sourciest of sources.

Morning y'all. First day back to school for Dominic. Yay!!
Yesterday I watched season one and half of season two of Walking Dead. @Phlat_Brim_Kid recommended this series and I needed something to occupy my time while I was resting. Pretty intense show, I liked it quite a bit..although I did hide under the covers a couple times and ewwww, it can get pretty gross..nasty ass walkers. Yuck.

GM.N!Decent weekend. Great Saturday night with @cupuscakus, football and pizza Sunday. Lots of rest and relaxing. I have a pretty good week coming up. Made some plans to see some old friends and random assortment of fun.
I'm pretty shocked Seattle came out and smacked the Skins in the mouth. I'm not convinced even with RGIII the Skins would have won that game. Really looking forward to the Pats this weekend. I'm thinking (hoping) to see Denver at Gillette in a couple of weeks.

GM everyone. @westbrook and @DriedUpGoliath pretty much summed up my feelings about the game yesterday. I was damn near screaming at the TV when Griffin started the 3rd quarter.I kinda think the 14-0 start was a mirage, since that 1st quarter was pretty much Murphy's Law for the Seahawks and I figured the game was going to be close anyway, but leaving Griffin in when he was clearly laboring (couldn't plant, ran like Patrick Ewing in his final years, started spraying throws all over the place, etc.) was not only an egregious, possibly fireable oversight by Shanahan, it put way too much pressure on the Skins defense to keep having to hold such a strong offense over and over after a string of 3 and outs. It was bad coaching, bad decision making, and bad being a human being (not all long-term injuries are brain-related) on a pretty f***ing epic scale. And since it's obvious Shanahan's coming back next season (the Skins made the playoffs, after all), arguing about it is a moot point. I was boiling mad yesterday. Now I'm just resigned. At least the rest of the playoffs should be fun.
The only thing I have to dream about now is being the van driver on the Girls Terr...

Morning all! Great weekend combined with finally kicking this flu has me pretty chipper for a Monday. Took the kids to the Please Touch Museum on Saturday. If any of you folks with kids ever head to Philly you should definitely stop in. It's not right in Center City, but it's a really great place and worth the visit.My son got his first haircut yesterday as well. He looks so old now. Definitely made the jump from "baby" to "little boy". I wonder when the hell that happened.
Dinner with friends on Sunday wrapped everything up nicely.
Busy week. Guess I'll have to make time to reserve hotel rooms in VT for this summer.

As for RGIII I think he is great but I was saying in the middle of the season that the whole running thing would be over for him soon. I think we saw the end of it yesterday. Running QBs just don't last in the NFL. Phil Simms was talking about it yesterday in terms of stradegy. When you drop back to pass you are presented with multiple option spread out over 50 yards of the field. When you are a running QB, even when running an option your options are limited.I like Phil Simms btw.
