Been a few days since we've talked. I've been at sea, on a cruise hell yeah! I was only in port for two days. Beers, chicks, and tons of tasty midnight munchie foods were had. I was listening to Phish getting ready for dinner one night and my mom started singing along, now this wasn't the first time. But it was to a song i would have never expected, the latest rocking rager of ride captain ride from YEMSG. I was dying, going crazy, and her same regular voice made it all rush back to my head in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. Thats when I started to think. That was a phun phucking run huh? I felt trapped on that ship, had the craving for another show, but this one needed to be different. Would it be time to bring mom or dad to a show? Is that weird?? The key to Phish is that we all have something we all find about them we like, whether it the eclectic library of songs (her favorites being weekapaug, Emotional Rescue, and that possum one), the good vibes on lot, or just being at a show, its just all fun, and I can freakin wait for more soon~

I watched most of 12/31 set I with my dad the other night. We smoked a bowl and he was into it. However, he gets serious negative points for trying to claim that Rift sounded like Possum.

I took my parents to Phish and they loved it. It depends on your parents. I've gone to Phish shows with parents of friends, as well. It was totally cool.

My dad went to a few shows with me and enjoyed it...he likes to hang in the back of the venue and watch the whole scene (lights + band + crowd).
He loses interest in some of the longer jams though lol.
