With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
And lead us not into the Biscuits
But deliver us from Umphrey's

2 more interviews today.

I finally, slowly feel like I must be doing something right professionally, as 2 of the people interviewing to work in my section have, respectively, an MBA and a JD.

An old coworker forwarded me an e-mail this morning that closed with:
"I am destined for greatness, I am just pacing myself."
Cute.

I need a beer tonight- being sick the last couple of days has kept me beerless. There's a Dogfish Head Burton Baton with my name on it for after work.

JayDubya Good Morning!

I'm really happy that it's Friday. Tonight we're hitting the high school basketball game to watch my daughter cheer. Our varsity girls are ranked #1 in the state and they're playing the #2 tonight. Should be a good game.

Tomorrow I'm heading to the local meat locker to pick up a 1/2 a hog. A friend of mine from high school has started farming on his parents land after they died. He's doing his livestock all organic and free range. He gave me and another guy a hog for free to split. It's done and now I have to find enough freezer space to keep it. organic, free range bacon FTMFW!

Stopped in to say hello. I just bought tickets to see the Black Crowes at the Captiol Theater. I love the Black Crowes and they always put on an amazing show.

In other news, I came home from work yesterday to find one of my trees on my property cut down and left. Not only was the tree trunk and huge branches left, but it was the tree that housed my son's tree house. I called the town and they said it was a hazardous tree. No notification??? I am livid.

@johnnyd -- i need to borrow your chainsaw :)

How did they explain being on your property to cut a tree down? Was it close to the road or power lines?

I guess it was hanging over the road. I understand the need to cut back trees (especially after all the storms) but no notice?!? Grrr.... and now I have to explain to my son that his tree house is gone.

johnnyd So last night was a farewell party for a buddy from the Prohibition Pig, the restaurant/bar that is located where the alchemist was. He was the bar manager at the alchemist for just about its entire existence, and was known as "the Mayor" of Waterbury. He's moving back to the alchemist - almost the entire original crew is now working in some capacity or another up at the cannery.

A pile of good friends that we don't see in one place anymore; such a good time. Unfortunately had to leave early due to work. But man, the latenight shenanigans we used to get into...warm and fuzzy kinda night, a shame we had to cut it short.

I still havent gone in there. Every time I think about going I think of the Red Beans and Rice with pulled pork the Alchemist used to have. I did get to see the brewery set up when it was in the basement, maybe the same guy? My brother worked with him at Top Notch maybe.

My plan since there's 2 of us is to be the silent partner. I'm just going to judge and lean in and whisper to the one asking all the questions. A lot of furious scribbling. I need to find a monocle and a top hat

If you got to see the brewery it was probably with John, the owner. But maybe not. I dont think he was ever at top notch...

Oh, and GM everyone.
