It would be the killer app. Setlists, FAQ, News, Blog, Phish.Net store, and a strong feature set for the forums.
It will be my most used app, right up there with my go to Reddit app.
Anyone know if this is in the pipeline?
@phreezer was working on one forever ago, even had people beta testing it. not quite whatever happened to it though....Was it official Phish.Net, or fan created? Phish.Net needs its own app. And not just iOS. Android too! :-)
I agree. I would definitely be down to fund a kickstarter for this....have wanted a .net app for quite sometime now.Kickstarter is a much better idea! @sethadam1, @Lemuria, @Icculus, @johnnyd, @PZerbo, would we be wasting our time funding a Kickstarter for an official Phish.Net paid or free Android / iOS app? Could the work to make an app take place with enough money? If so, how much?
I'll create the Kickstarter, and do all the leg work / administration of Kickstarter. We just need developers. But, it must be an official Phish.Net app.

Please do not create a Kickstarter for this right now. Thank you.No worries, I never would have without your go ahead first. Just planting the seed of an idea.
@sethadam1 - does this mean there is something in the works? With the simplest answer possible, yes.
Providing an optimized mobile experience has been a goal since Phish.net relaunched. That being said, it is something that takes tremendous time and effort. If you have skills that you think can help this project, please PM me directly.
As @sethadam1 noted, please don't go down the route of Kickstarter. We appreciate the enthusiasm, but an official app will come via the leadership of the team here.

@harroldHOOD said:Please, someone out there must have Android / iOS appdev experience. If so, please volunteer your time. If I had an inkling of knowledge, I would help out RIGHT NOW. Heck, I'm thinking of teaching myself how to create an app just to get an official app out there. I'm a purist. I own the LivePhish app on Android and iOS so I can listen to Phish. There are apps out there based on the Phish.Net API, and they are alright, but it's not the official Phish.Net app, and because of that, it just isn't the same. m.phish.net is alright, but I don't want a webapp, I want the real deal! Phish.Net rocks, but the web browser experience, even on a Samsung Note (phone) leaves a lot to be desired, and I don't want to go through a 3rd party. I want my Phish.Net mobile!@sethadam1 - does this mean there is something in the works? With the simplest answer possible, yes.

Can't wait for the day that I see the Phish.Net beanie icon on my phone!

Please, someone out there must have Android / iOS appdev experience.
