I did this kind of thread a few months ago on pt. I think it is a fun game.

Eff would be to play a song that isn't a Phish song once and to never play it again. A one night stand, if you will.

Marry would be to have one Phish song at EVERY show. You have to have the same song at every single show. 4 day NYE run? They will play it all four nights.

Kill would be to take a Phish song and shelve it... For life. No more of this one Phish song. It will never be played again.

I apologize for singling you out. You're not the only person who said they'd marry The Curtain With, but I had to put this out there.

The only issue I have with this would be that the "With" portion of the song would mean you'd never get a Rift (which I could live with) but you'd also never get a Reba cause the jam portion of the "With" is essentially a Reba jam (I don't know which key it's in, but it sounds the same to my ears).

I had never actually considered this until talking with a friend of mine post-Super Ball. He had missed the Camden show that summer (we're both from Jersey, so he'd normally have been there) and was bummed cause he missed that Curtain With. He was saying he hoped they'd play it at Super Ball, but when they played it (The Curtain) without he realized that it was likely because they had also played Rift and Reba that weekend. It makes sense to me.

Now, I've not checked the setlist of every show featuring a Curtain With, but the ones I have seen haven't had a Rift or a Reba.

@elfinito, I would love to hear an instrumental Metallica from the 80's; it would just show how talented Phish is cause Metallica isn't exactly liver

Funny you say kill possum.. That was almost my marry song

I've seen possum at 4 of the 10 shows and every version is basically the same. The band hasn't really done anything interesting with the song since the 90's and I think shelving it for a while may be a good thing.
