LOL... just watch a few shows of it...never got into it...tuna fishing is way to slow and the most i ever seen was one fish pulled in in a show...dont get me wrong, i would love to go out and try it once...cause if i caught a 1500lbs tuna, i would be set for life with tuna steaks...

After hooking into 2 and losing them (one the hook broke in it's mouth, the other the line snapped after contacting a screw on the gunwale which was sticking out by a fraction) we finally caught a 575 pounder. Sold that bad boy for a few grand (I believe it was about 4 grand). My brother and sister would also go up with my father (my father would go up almost every week for a few days for 2 straight summers). My sister caught the biggest one, 1,000 pounder. My brother had the best luck though, as he and my father landed 3 tuna in 3 days.
It's been probably about a decade since we've been back. I probably would never go back to Gloucester if I weren't going fishing though. That whole town stinks of dead fish. Blech.
