Back from the doc. That was reasonably thorough. Need to give more fluids on friday before they tell me anything. Also got my tetnus done. Shoulder is just starting to stiffen up.

I'm actually not sure about that, @tripsforjoeg.But the way I was thinking of it is if Person A has a direct contact with Kevin Bacon, that is not 1 degree of separation because, well, its a direct contact. So thats 0 degrees of separation. And then count upwards from there. So Person B, who knows person A but not Kevin Bacon, then has one degree of separation between him/herself and Kevin Bacon. That single "degree" being Person A.
I am certainly open to being persuaded otherwise, but the above kinda makes sense to me.

Only Bacon himself gets a 0, anyone who worked with him is a 1 to my understanding. I was an extra on an episode of Guiding Light. Kevin Bacon had a short stint on the show. Technically though since I was not on it at the same time my Bacon number would really be a 2 through actors on that show or a couple other routes.

Should we have a thread/discussion/vote on how the Kevin Bacon thing works? Or is there an authoritative website? I will look into this further...sign'd on timing, @birmy. When I had a weird warehouse job, usually getting out at like 4 or 5 AM, sometimes I just wanted to go for a beer and unwind. But nothing is open, and in rural VT, nobody would be there if it was.
