But really the beer is just absolutley amazing since my first taste of Hop Notch IPA i was blown away by this beer and knew I found a very special love.
So far I've had the:
Hop Notch IPA - A
Anniversary Barley Wine Ale - A
Dubhe - Imperial Black IPA - A+
Golden Spike Hefe - C+
Wyld - Extra Pale Ale - B+
Crooked Line -
Tilted Smile - Imperial Pilsner - B+
And then last night a miracle happened....
I cracked a bottle of Labyrinth Black Ale - 13.2%
Over the next 3 hours I may have had the best beer experience of my life. Simply amazing!
You should really try this in the safety of your own home.

I love Dubhe and for a Barleywine (which I rarely enjoy) that Anniversary is damn good.
I never even saw a six pack of it.
I liken it to Green Flash but not as boozy.
Before Hop Notch Sculpin was my favorite IPA.
I feel like you can drink a few Hop Notch and not get totally wasted.
I hope you will love it!It's a damn fine IPA for sure. Green Flash (West Coast IPA) is a pretty good comparison, although the GF is a little more bitter IMO. I would put it in my top 5 or 6 after:

Sculpin
Green Flash
Racer 5 (Bear Republic)
Bell's Two Hearted
Of course these are beers that I'm familiar with and not counting double IPA's. There's so many more out there to try so thanks for the recommendation.

I'm on a huge stout kick right now (tis the season) and will have to grab a bottle. If you like stouts, have you tried tenfidy from Oskar blues, Sierra nevada's narwhal, or founders imperial stout? All amazing.
I've been waxing and waning poetic about Uinta beers for the last year.I will give it a whirl. I've had crooked smile, tilted line and hop notch, all of which are strong, but always passed by labyrinth.

I've never had their stuff. Sounds good!Your memory is about as good as mine :-)
I sent you two of their beers this past summer...

I too really enjoy all of their offerings... Working in Utah this winter you see their brews all over. Thankfully they also ship plenty here to SoCal..

That whole care package is still a haze in my brain
I'll be picking up the rest of my selections for you Saturday and shipping next week. Will you be home to accept? Also, do you like mustard?
