What happened to encore lighters? The only time I have seen it happen in 3.0 was Albany2 2009, and it was mostly because of the heady dude outside in the lot who had an encore lighters sign he was wearing. Dude did a great job spreading the word.At MSG I felt like I was the only one holding up a lighter. Why did everyone stop doing that? It creates such an awesome feeling when everyone in the building is holding up their lighter in anticipation waiting for the band to come back out...

Encores are a given with Phish, I think back in the day with other bands, they always weren't. I am not going to hold up a lighter knowing they are walking out in a few minutes anyway. Would be better used for something special.

It annoys me when a crowd doesn't get rowdy during the encore break. They are just expected now.
