They also played more shows in 09 and 10 with the fall tours but YEM has become a treat the past 2 years which is nice

It's way better if you have to chase it around instead of knowing you're going to see it at every venue they go to, IMO of course

Counting 2011 and 2012, it averages to about once every 6.5 shows. Not sure how that stacks up against other eras or years but I guess that seems about right.Let the record show I'm due for one!

I saw two YEM's in twelve shows this year. Right in line with the average.

i love yem as much as the next guy, but by the end of 1.0, i was getting kind of sick of it. it wasn't just the frequency at which it was played. the placement had become sooo predictable. "well, there have been 2 shows w/o yem. they closing with it tonigh?" 3 hours later... "yep."

I'd rather them play only 3 a year, but have them be monster versions. It's always great to get YEM because it's obviously a great song, but it's been a pretty cookie cutter jam for nearly a decade.

Also, with a few exceptions, I have felt like the YEM's since '09 have been mostly uninspired... they started to get consistently better 12.29.11 and seem to have held on since. If less means better than I'm okay with it.
Now we need a few more Reba's, and hopefully they're more like AC than MSG

33 total in 123 shows. 3 in 17 shows this year (SPAC Dicks MSG). I've only seen 5 in the 30 3.0 shows I've seen.
