hahaha, i wish i would've seen that thread 6 months ago. i'm with you. i really like that 8/15/11 show. i also think it is one of the most over-fluffed shows of 3.0, and competition is stiff.

Soo glad that show was the first one I had the privilege of seeing in person. It solidified my Phish fanaticism and helped me realize how a real concert can be. I remember watching with an awestruck look on my face during that Waves jam. I can probably credit my hopes to work in the music industry to the experiences from that show and night 1 of Alpine this year. Some of the finest entertainment that I'll ever see

Also during this show, I believe it was during the encore, maybe fire...page stared into my eyes for a min or two as I was grooving hard, n just gives me the head nod...i think he stole my soul.

Great second set, great encore. Amazing Alumni > LTJP> Alumni, best of 3.0 version hands down imho. However, also imho, it doesn't have shit on the FYF show. That shits just on another level..

but still true haha. Also, whoever kept throwing those green balls on stage deserves a giant thank you for 10 minutes of some straight shredding by big red.
