King_Williamson Our Fishman,
Who art in rhombus,
W00kie be thy name.
These hippies come
With guitar and drum
On tour as it is in Gamehendge.
Give this day our daily toke
And forgive us our WSP stats
As we forgive spreadheads that come to our Phish shows.
And lead us not into the Biscuits
But deliver us from Umphrey's

Hibernating sounds nice. Ive been doing it since Christmas :)

Got a nice weekend planned. The Mrs. and I are heading up to the Windham area this evening for a weekend of skiing, boarding and most likely heavy amounts of drinking.

A friend of mine has some property up there with a 5 bedroom house and a cottage on it. All in all, there will be 6 couples and 7 children ranging from 2 years old to 12 years old. The families have the house...Ms. Slothberries, myself and the only other childless couple have the cottage

Cant
Fucking
Wait!

I worry about my cat. The last time I went away, she got very upset at being alone, and she showed her frustration by knocking things off the kitchen counter and flipping the litter box over. Granted, she was alone for 4 days with my friend stopping in only for a few minutes every day to feed her. This time she will only be alone half of that time....so hopefully she will be able to contain her kitty rage.

muggleballs Good morning! It's like a sausage factory up in here, I like it!

Since I've gone back to work, every morning the little dude wakes me up at 5 so I can let him out to go potty, then he runs upstairs and makes a blanket fort in the middle of the bed. If he was an actual child I probably would have sent him to the orphanage by now

I'm so glad this crappy cold weather is finally going back to you all where it belongs

Main upside is that they are fuzzy and make that awesome purring noise.

Among the downsides is the crapping in a box, the shredding of furniture, and the stalking of ankles.

Our cat is pretty funny, though. His name is Bialy and he's...well, special.

Decent night last night, made breakfast for dinner, so eggs, bacon, and homefries slathered in hot sauce and maple syrup. So many noms. I'm rather proud of my homefries- they're rather delicious and easy to make. I boil the potatoes 'til they're about 95% done, then fry them in bacon grease with pepper and garlic salt. Halfway through frying, I add BBQ sauce and Italian dressing, and finish frying them in that. They are amazing.

TGIF!

yes, there is. Friendship and loyalty.

Little Roxy is 8 years old now and she has been the one constant in my life since the day that I got her. Girls have come and gone, friends have come and gone, apartments have come and gone. Ive had good times, bad times, happy times and sad times and shes been there for all of it. When Im sad, she knows it...and she consoles me.

And every single night when I go to bed...that cute, cuddly cat with the big adoring eyes lays her head on my shoulder an nuzzles with me until we both fall asleep.

I think I just have a hard time reconciling that whole bipolar cat nature. Like Carini is my ride or die dude, we're besties, he owns my whole heart. And he snuggles and cuddles and loves me without jumping on my head or trying to amputate my feet. Plus the box of poop really freaks me out

I had cats when I was younger though and never really had any of these weird hangups oddly enough. I think they started when I had a roommate with a cat who was seriously a sex offender. I used to wake up in the middle of the night and it was caressing my face. And then it would try to murder me

the cat box isnt that big of a deal if you clean it every day. It sure beats going out at 5 am in -7 degree weather

johnnyd Sounds like an awesome weekend lined up, @slothberries.

Cats are awesome. Especially when you take the litter box out of the equation. Having them go outside, and having two brothers is pretty key I think.

Dig the potato method, @DriedupGoliath. This is a long-running topic of discussion between @DrPeterVenkman and I and many others. How are the potatoes cut? I assume you cut them before boiling?

I cut them into half-dollar size pieces (obviously thicker than that, but that's about how wide they are) and then boil them. It's much easier that way.
