Breaking Bad theories/predictions

Abrahm Permalink
Abrahm I'm a huge fan of the show Breaking Bad. With only a few months between now and the start of the last half of the final season I figured we could use some wild speculation on the fate of Walter H and his family

Thread will obviously contain spoilers. You've been warned

I agree. The end of the mid season finale was so placid but at the same time you can't help but think something awful is going to happen. I think Gilligan has been alluding to the death of Holly for some time now, but I really hope it doesn't come to that.

"everyone dies in this movie don't they?"

I agree. And I think him killing Hank leads him to New Hampshire (or whereever he was in the diner scene on his 52nd birthday) with the assumed identity and the big gun deal that went down in the parking lot. The conclusion to this amazing series is going to be huge I think.

Seeing Walter's metamorphosis throughout the seasons has been unreal, I can't wait to see how it ends.

Walt was not in New Hampshire, he was in the abq. Same Denny's he and Jessie ate at in the beginning of season 4, same gun dealer that sold him the snub nose

He had a New Hampshire license plate. Doesn't really mean he was there even but from that scene I feel we can safely assume that Walt was on the lam.

I guess I just assumed he was in New Hampshire. But I think definitely on the run.

Abrahm Walt had New Hampshire plates (probably for the dramatic effect of "live free or die" ;) and a New Hampshire license with skylars maiden name on it. This could mean that Walter was on the lamb, but presumably came back to the abq to settle a score. Remember when he tells the gun dealer that the machine gun is "never leaving town?"

I am 100% behind you on this. I put homeland behind BB, boardwalk empire, and madmen (which I thought has its best season in 2 years last year).

I also thought Cranston should've won the golden globe for actor. Damien Lewis has 1 look- irritated with a small mouth.

lacesoutmike I had a theory that Hank would be fed up with all the shit he was getting from the DEA for his inability to catch Fring, and ask Walt for a cut of the of the money to keep his mouth shut and so he and Marie can move away/start over. Walt would obviously be threatened by this and Walter will kill Hank. Skylar finds out and is so guilty for playing along and let this continue she kills herself with the ricin but sends an anonymous tip to the DEA before she does it. Walt goes on the run (NH plates scene)to escape the DEA. But Skylar is almost definitely dead before the scene in Denny's takes place because she made his birthday breakfast in the opening scene of the show and the dennys bday breakfast was foreshadowing for what walt had lost.

Im probably completely off here but I figured it was an interesting theory. Can't wait for season 5 pt. II

I think that scene has Walt coming back for revenge. Since he skipped town I assume Hank is still alive or he would have never needed to leave town. I think Jesse makes meth, cartel thinks Walt is still around and kills or kidnaps his family. He comes back for one last major war with the cartel and everyone dies except him. He is left with no friends, no money, no family and lives out his life miserable.

I'm surprised nobody has said this yet. Walt was never cut out for this business. The only reason Gus lasted as long as he did was because he was a genius and took the risk of hiring Walt for the sake of his meth cooking talent. He knew it was a gamble, and in the end it got him killed. Walt is reckless. He has made terrible decisions the entire way and has always let his ego get the best of him. I think this will come back to haunt him. Whether he is killed or what, I don't know.

Then walt dies. I would be shocked if they stick to the 8 show thing. You don't just stop making a successful TV show bc the initial script had reached its fruition. Maybe. Idk though.

the ricin has to come into play. i like the theory that skyler bumps it thinking it's meth. i think more likely holly gets her hands on it. i get the sense thag she will die, and that is a way to kill her off without shooting a baby.

jesse gets the rap for killing holly, because he mentioned the ricin to investigators when brock was poisoned. walt takes advantage of the opportunity to frame jesse as hisenberg and skkps town to avoid further investigation.

someone: either the cartel or lydia or the dealer from arizona, goes after walt, and he returns to abq in his last act of protecting the family.

mexican standoff: walt, jessee and hank. jesse kills walter. he has to.

in the end, we find out that saul goodman had a much bigger hand in the meth empire than anyone imagined, and he escapes clean.

HarryHood420 Walt is going to attempt to kill hank indirectly and will fail. OR he is going to try and persuade him that the WW he found in the book is not him and totally unrelated to him. Punchyouinthejejunum Permalink
Punchyouinthejejunum I can't wait to see how Walter finds out that Hank knows, assuming the realization on the crapper leads him to Walter. I could see some sort of really aggressive move from Walt in the next to last episode or something, where they are all at dinner again, and Hank asks to have a word with Walt outside and brings it up, and Walt, either with a gun, or some sort of subtle poison or something kills him right then and there. But either way, I think they are gonna show Walt looking mercilessly into Hank's eyes as he dies at Walter's hand, symbolizing his complete transformation. So Hank is lying dead outside the house or wherever, the women ask where he is, and Walter says he hasn't seen him in a while. Then, while they go outside to look/call, Walt drives off and the last episode or last few is him on the run. Show culminates in Walter's violent death, like Scarface
