Morning, dot peeps. Got stuck at work because our "service express" person (hotel operator) called off and my boss is manning the front desk alone. So I'm on the phones, and systematically destroying the hotel's service scores by fumbling every play I try to make.Yup, got your breakfast order down! Um...except your room number.
4 sets of towels to room 401 please...what do you mean there's no one in room 401?
I blame a lack of sleep, insufficient caffeine, and the fact that I just don't do this part of the job on a regular basis. But bottom line is that I'm 0/2 on getting room numbers correct...or getting them at all.
Please, someone get me out of here soon!

Gmornin' all. Hope all of you who are under the weather get to feeling better soon. So far we've stayed well out here. ::knocks on wooden head::My son and I are about to drive up the mountain to get our 12th & 13th days of skiing in. We got a good foot of fresh snow earlier this week and today is supposed to be sunny and 25. It is fun when the kids get old enough to wear you out. He is 9 and we shred the whole upper mountain, all he wants to do is double black, so I have to be careful not to get us in trouble, but so far so good.

Some guy from NY just came to pick up about $3,000 worth of butcher pigs. It was a weird scene in the warehouse with a few guys standing around pulling pig parts out of boxes and inspecting them. Felt like doing a drug deal with the mob or something.
