For context, read these: Donations to Mocking Bird for @Spractor's Name
Mockingbird Donation Completed
The donation has been received and validated.
Here's what you get:
For 30 days, you can select a new avatar for @ericwyman, @johnnyd, @TheEmu, @Lemuria, @colforbin, @tweezer, @jackl, and me, @sethadam1. These avatars can be anything non-pornographic, and have to be "approved." This approval is only in the case of appropriateness. In other words, you can't put hate speech or a political opinion or something. But if you like the words "Divided Rules" for Wyman, well, go for it.
You can rename @pzerbo's account for 30 days. That was big balls to offer up. Use it wisely, folks.
I'm open to suggestions for enhancements on Phish.net, as promised.
Lastly, I will change @TeBowie's name back to @Sprachtor, as soon as he confirms receipt of this.

after all this was all because @tebowie aka @sprachtor started a tread and mentioned he wanted to go back to his original name and all the regulars jump in with no expectations of this really happening but pushed the issue which caused the awesome donation thread where we came together as a community and hit the max goal set by the admins!

improved search for the forum...date range ? by user name? i dont know i just can't find anything when i do a search....
maybe give everyone that donated a little badge next to there name (with a hyperlink to the MBF donation page) like the phish fish next to the admins names...(this will promote awareness to donating)

This will go down as one of the finer moments in Phish.net historyBTW...I didnt notice this thread when I started the 'Welcome back @Sprachtor' thread. I started the thread after I saw his name @mention'd in the "mental image of a random .netter thread" as @sprachtor....but at the time of the original post his name was @tebowie.
basically what im saying is that i thought the change happened all incognito-like. Sorry for creating an extra thread about it.

If one were so inclined, and has been around the forum for a while, one might recall the first picture I ever posted of myself here. Sometimes reality is the best parody.)
Tell ya what. I kicked in a small amount to the pool on the forum side via @joonze, but have not yet made the admin team "matching donation" that I planned on. As pennance for that slack, I'll offer up my username for a couple months too. Say til the Ides of March, since I'm a total Latin dork and truly enjoy the freedom and comfort of a toga. This is contingent on you kids coming up with something funny, and @sethadam1 being ok with the back end work (TWSS) that goes into the switch.

I just have to say that there are a couple avatars that are actually cool and would make good avatars (i.e the jackl and dude of life). This is not acceptable, this should play this like a gag. I feel like they all should be funny and a bit humiliating to have to post with that photo as ones avatar (i.e Reba McEntire, Dave Mathews, the weirdo goth lookin' kid and Bieber)....just a thought.
It would be way more fun that way...Can you still have fun? I wan't my donations worth out of this
