edit: for the record, i am quite fond of Fukoaka Coil. Page plays the outro with such a patience that echos the rest of the show.
I was listenening to 5-8-93 in the car. Don't know if it the beast but I do love the blues jam it evolves into and then the big ball jam. Such a great show.yea gonna say this, Durham, NH. This was the first phish album i heard, and that beautiful 16min coil actually turned me on to phish.
also out of 3.0, AV 2012 was solid.
ALO solo is one of the first phish jams that made me "get" it. truly gorgeous, but i really haven't heard too many other versions worth mentioning..at least ones comparable to ALO.
Something about the ALO Coil outro gets me every time. This one gives me chills every time I hear it, and when I get chills, my nips get hard enough to rip my t-shirts. So, at least 150 times, and close to 150 shirts. Hanes has gotta love me.
AC was sick.2010 or 2012? The 2010 coil has my favorite outro in recent memory.

Such a great show.Without a doubt that is my favorite Coil outro. Maybe not the "most beautiful", but the Page outro is awesome and what follows is TOP notch. I can take or leave the Big Ball Jam, but the ripping jam that comes before it is something else.
I'm a big fan of the one from Clifford Ball.Re-listening to this one right now. I love how Page gives the high keys some good attention in this one. Very "rainy day" feel to it IMO. I wish it was about 5 minutes longer, but I feel like that for every Coil outro.
Then that Billy Breathes later on just solidified that show in my memory as a highlight of the summer.
I'm a big fan of the one from Clifford Ball.Came in here to pick this one. Easily my favorite. When I first became a fan, 8/16/96 was the first show I got on tape, and I wore the shit out of those three XLIIs. This Coil slayed me 16-plus years ago and slays me today. Just gorgeous.
