I'm very excited for this to start again. The only problem is I generally re-read the book the season is based on before the shows start again and then I end up having to re-read the whole freaking series. Which isn't that big of an issue, but there are other books out there I'd like to get to eventually.

I just read on an ASOIAF forum that book 6 probably wouldn't be coming out until 2014..fuuuuccckkk

Guess I'll have to content myself with the HBO series until then. Damn you, George R.R Martin! And of course all the books end on mad cliff-hangers

You could read the hedge knight and the sworn sword in the meantime - a few hundrred years before GOT - the Tales of Dunk and Egg - nice preludes to the events of GOT and the formation of Westeros.

I sketched a "signil" for House of Page: three white keys and two black enveloped in a flame - I wanted to add the fish from the House of Tully for obvious reasons

These books are great because the author doesn't care that the reader gets attached to certain characters, he just kills them like in the middle of the book and you sit there like "What f***?! I thought this whole series was about this guy/girl"
