That show is amazing. The Punch You in the Eye is indeed one of the best, one of the longest and best intros I've heard. Trey was doing this weird scratching thing during the intro groove that sounded amazing.

mfhgreyboy Morning all. Are we having a collective listening experience this morning? Fun.

Anywho, the Flyers finally got a win. I'm pretty pleased with that, even though they tried to give it away at the end. Our goalie (A FLYERS GOALIE!) really stood tall, which is nice.

I have our kids tonight then my buddy's (one of the ones who his moving) tomorrow night. Throw in some dance class, a play-date, some grocery shopping and you've got yourself an action packed weekend right there!

johnnyd I've said it before, but seriously. I could groove to the PYITE intor for 10, 20 minutes easy. Maybe a set. Who knows? I could do that all day.

Also, how does that wepay thing work for BarefootBob? Does it take PayPal, or direct bank transfers from checking or savings? I gotta make my donation. And not being in front of a computer all day is really cutting into my "life" effectiveness.

cupuscakus FTR, last night's TAB show was a snoozefest. A few good moments (ie: Small Ax, Last Tube) but overall not good.
I actually left early... something I have never done before.

On the other hand, the show I saw at the Beacon in October was FIRE, so you win some, you lose some.

chris200w Morning all. I think I'm going to have to get a haircut this weekend. Getting pretty rough around the edges.

I enjoyed the TABcast last night. I'm an even bigger TAB n00b than Phish n00b, so if @cupuscakus says it wasn't a great show for the band, I'll take her word for it.

kenny_powers Permalink
kenny_powers Yeah the acoustics at Target Center MUST blow because that recording I used is, from what I can tell, the best sounding one and it's still really boomy. But even though there's the "downside" of Mike sounding really boomy and gooey (which is actually kind of nice if you're into that), Trey's tone is awesome.

Besides the drawn out PYITE intro, the On Your Way Down is the most siginifcant thing to me from that show because they just play it sooooo ssslllllllowww, and Trey's blues chops just peirce through that fishbowled arena.
