So itll be my first time at Wrigley, and my first time in Chicago. Im thinking of staying in the city for a week. Should be lots of fun!
anyone else going to this show?
there goes Red Rocks...Im still going to brahlorado if Phish plays there
Just kidding (not really). It's sure to be the best hometown talent that field will see this summer. you'll have a great time @Slothberries. New Yorkers typically have a lot of fun there.
My buddy won tickets through PJ's lottery system. I dont know if its anything like ours, but im assuming its kinda similar. Lots of requests....few of them fulfilled.Won't be at the show but will be living nearby (moving back to Chicago in a week). PM me and I will be happy to show y'all around to some fun places.

Maybe Eddie will play this. Maybe he'll pronounce 'Wrigley' how its suppose to be pronounced, with TWO syllables! It's not Wrig-a-ley, jerk.Wrig-a-ley Field in Chicago, Ill-i-noi-ssssssss
didn't put in for 10c tickets, gonna wait for the fall tour. have fun!!
You should have a blast.
Pearl jam has some die hard fans. A friend of mine has seen them over 30 times. I know that's nothing like a phish fan, but that's still a lot.
RC: has been on wrigley field and not for a show
::pops collar::
Caught them in Amsterdam this summer. I wasnt expecting much since I'm not a huge fan, but they absolutely killed it. They played for probably 3 to 3.5 hours. Im definitely going to see them again at some point. Have fun at the show.
PJ puts on a good show. Ive seen them a few times now.Really shocked.
Im mainly going for Wrigley and Chicago
Can you be more descriptive about why they put on a good show? Always been curious?

They play all of their hits and they play them well. There are no flubs, miscues, etc (at least no noticeable ones).....but there are no risks being taken either.....
Basically, if youre a casual fan of the band (like I am) you walk away happy every time.
edit: Why are you shocked?
No, never saw them, but am interested in seeing them. Maybe one day, I like a lot of their songs.
Shocked that you have seen them. I never heard you mention anything about them and being that you have already seen them more than once thought maybe you would of.Ive seen them twice at the Garden and once in Newark....all 3 times with my Pearl Jam fanatic friend.

Theyre just a really good band. like I said, not many risks taken....but thats not what they are. If you go there expecting to see them jam the f*** out, type II style, then youre gonna be disappointed.
If you wanna hear songs like Alive, Watchtower, That 'Reign On Me' Who song, even flow, elderly woman....then youll be happy because youre likely to get at least 50% of them at every show.
I love Alive. Favorite song.standard PJ encore
It always reminds me of Free for some reason. I'm not even sure why.
@sprachtor...if they come to the area in the fall, we'll goHell yeah, if we can get tickets. That would be awesome. Black was always my other favorite.
I'm not a huge pj fan..some tunes I enjoy..I caught that PJ documentary on Netflix a few months ago..and yea..they showed a good amount of concert footage..looks like they put on a good show..althou I don't think Eddie Vedder climbs up things like he used to..some of those climbs are pretty scary..hahah...no more climbing for Eddie Vedder.
He is kinda bad ass though. he gets into this stance....one leg in front of the other, bent at the knees a little bit, rocks foward and back. A true rock star
Edit: @sprachtor...black is one of my favorites also
When I saw them in Newark we were in the 3rd row. My boy gets baller tickets. Their PJ fan club is no joke
The last time I saw them at the garden, we were sitting in the same seats that you and I had on the 30th, Sprach. I could have sworn I mentioned it that night. Mary Kate Olsen was sitting a couple of rows away...her and her possee...lol. Apparently she is a huge fan.Haha

Those were awesome seats except for the fact your neighbor was a zombie.

I love Alive. Favorite song.I was actually thinking the other day on my way to work how it would be interesting to see eddie sit in with phish on that song.
