for GA shows (superball for me), it seems like since there is so much hype over 'page side rage side', fish side tends to have more dancing space. and i have a better view to do my air drums more accurately 
page side = overrated in my book. if you have the choice. i know, sacrilegious stuff right here. just waiting for the thumbs down.

I noticed at Dicks this past year that there was a noticeable difference between the amount of people page side vs. fish side. Which oddly enough makes it kinda hard to rage when you are crammed in there. I now avoid page side like the plague...

Only time I've ever been was at Bonnaroo and it was... muddy.

Before page became completely closed off(99 i believe) page side 10 rows back was the place to be. Could see right in to see what he was doing....also great sight lines to the other band members.

People just call it Page Side-Rage Side because of the brevity. It isn't any different. Can't imagine why anyone would ever think it would be...

There is such a difference to it though and it's all in the mix. Unless you are sitting dead center with the FOH engineer, you are going to get different levels of different instruments and effects depending on your position in the house. Page side gets more page, fish stays more house right and trey and mike find harmony in between gliding between the two main arrays. A lot of synths involve quick panning vibrato/tremolo combo that throws sound across the spectrum, creating a Doppler like effect, it always starts on page side (except for the case with his Leslie which depends on where the physical speaker horn is) so you get a little more presidense and punch with his side. If you listen you really can hear a difference, but fish side has got it going on especially MSG, its all about sec 106. I love it all, I just want to be back in front of the stage already and hear this amazing music. no matter what side of the stage I'm on, ill be the happiest man in the world.

I'm never close enough for it to make a difference, but like I said, I was page side pit at Bonnaroo and was 8 rows back. Actually it wasn't for the rage side hype, we just did it because the left pit is much easier to get into at Bonnaroo. Next time I'll probably do Fish side. The thing about page side is your so much lower than him you can't even really see him play the keys.

If it was 09, I hate to be the one to tell you but fish side was WIDE open both nights. I was about 10 rows back (getting to each show within about 30 minutes of start time) and had A LOT of dance space. Last year may have been different though, I don't know.
