Oh, is it tonight? I knew it was coming soon but I didn't realize it was THAT soon. (speaking of soon...) I'm prepared to be disappointed. After all these years it can't help but not live up to the hype. But I'm still excited.

Trey has said in interviews, for years, that he wanted Loveless as a Halloween pick. I am not sure which of the guys did not want to cover it, or if it would simply be too demanding.
Isn't Anything and Loveless are two of the greatest discs ever. Nothing sounds like Loveless.

OK, after one listen I was like, 'well, maybe I'm overrating this just due to my childlike glee over the fact that it actually somehow exists.' But upon further review, this album really is that good. It is a thing of noisy, swirling beauty. And also somehow not a Loveless retread. How this is possible, I don't know, but if you'll excuse me I'm going to listen to "New You" for like the fourth time in a row. f*** YES! I am so happy right now.
