The Super Bowl wasn't too shabby. The commercials were not bad. Beyonce looked pretty good. I had Taco Bell. Not a bad Sunday.

Morning all.
Enjoyable evening overall. Did not see the very end of the game though, due to Em wanting to cash it in early. No comment.
The buffalo cauliflower actually came out pretty good. We went through several iterations in terms of getting the texture right - the first round was basically a pile of buffalo mush. But improvements were attained.

Well the Ravens won the superbowl. I was rootin for them the whole time. They're my AFC team. So yeah pretty happy about that. Anyways its monday and stuff, after last week I have no idea how this one will shape up. Friends are doing a Mad Man themed party this weekend so i got something to look forward too.

@missblue75 seriously, if you are from wisconsin and can't drive in/bitch about snow driving you should really not be able to drive. i have a rant similar to this one when people are all like "I don't wanna drive home this weekend its gonna snow" my response is usually as follows "you have had a license for how long and you can't handle a little snow?"

Morning, all.

Redskins weren't in the Super Bowl, so didn't care about the outcome very much. The game was still pretty exciting though. And we had a lot of food. I specifically made pineapple salsa and honey sriracha mustard, but we also had tacos and chips and pretzels and the like. Also we were probably the only people in America to smoke hookah during the Super Bowl. A pretty good Sunday if I say so myself.

I learned how to drive in the snow with a stick shift. I believe it has made me a better driver. Plus, snow driving in little cars is way easier with a stick.

Surprisingly, we are only missing 1 person. Usually the ole ladies call in sick on snowy days.

U can hold whatever you want against them. Work ppl are like family in that sense...you didn't choose to spend most of your life with them, you just have to... I've been with my work family for 15 years...in that time, I've hated and loved and mostly hated them...I'm very fortunate that I can listen to music all day and not say a single word at times.

Most of my early stick handling years were spent under the tutelage of my friend's mom who was a smoker so I learned a weird under and from behind grip on the ball that would probably be most effective if I actually was a smoker

So last year I thought the halftime show was pretty ridiculous (of course) but I found it somewhat entertaining.
This year it was also pretty ridiculous, but I was really not entertained at all. Well, a little bit by the lights and staging, but thats it.
I am having a hard time figuring out why.

Also, Kaepernick's got a f***ing cannon.

Because you're not a girl? I think if you're in my (or our really) age range Destiny's Child was kind of like the second coming of the Spice Girls but with a drama factor of like 100. Plus Kelly amd Michelle shot up out of the stage and landed on what I'm guessing were 5 inch heels without missing a beat. That's kind of badass
