Just find that balance between you and them. Find those things that you can do to meet both your needs. But of course this is easier said than done since it is completely dependent on how old your kids are. My wife is currently staying at home to watch our 2yr old and 1 month old and having a really difficult time. I work full time but also commute about 2.5-3 hrs per day so there is a lot of time I am not there to help her. Trying to me the needs of a 2yr old is super tough when you are dealing with a 1 month old and vice versa. I'm not sure how old your kids are Ed but I know (speaking for my wife here) that it's hard either way. Finding that balance between yourself and both kids is not easy and the added stress of watching them both can't help your anxiety. Do what you can to find activities outside of the home (destinations) that all three of you can enjoy and are inexpensive. A change of scene is super clutch. This helped me a lot when I was watching our daughter. Having a destination is a means to get them pumped up (and subsequently you as well) for whatever it is you are going to do. Getting there is time spent together talking about what your going to do. Being there and sharing the experience is Zen. Talking about what you did on the way home is just as important. What were the highlights for them? For you? What did you learn? How was that similar/different then what we did last week? And by the time you get home everyone is chill. All of this equals both physical and mental exercise and solid bonding between you and your kids. You'll all benefit from the balance it will bring to you on every level.

If you take a walk in the woods, lift up a rock or log, what do you see? What color is it? If you visit a farm or petting zoo, what sound does this make? What does it eat? Gardening with them is super sweet too. We planted a pizza garden for my daughter this year (i.e. peppers, tomatos, basil) so that she can see the veggies grow then enjoy them in her favorite food. Keeping them stimulated keeps you stimulated. I don't get to spend a lot of time during the week with my kids so I try as much as possible to create weekend destinations for us all to share and it makes a world of a difference for me and my relationship with my 2yr old daughter. I just can't wait for the 1 month old to get there too.
