The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

The 6 hour drive to Seattle with my son Oct 2014 to see Dylan Friday night and Phish Saturday night. Dylan, unexpectedly, was fantastic, but Phish blew me out of the water. I drove back in a fog of happiness.
Is:
Son and I are going to hit the road, doing Bend, Shoreline and the Forum. I've never driven more than 6 hours so it should be interesting, the first leg is 10-11 hours. Driving home from LA to Kelowna, BC is going to be a long bummer. My son has his learner's license but I don't think he's probably allowed to drive in the U.S. Sadly, at my age, I've started to diet, work out and get into shape for the trip so I can handle the driving and the stress on my body. Cross your fingers for this 50 year old lady.
We're doing Dick's too, but I had airmiles so we're flying in and out for that. But we're very excited to be doing at least 7 more shows less than a year after seeing Phish for the first time.
Will be:
Hallowe'en and NYE are both on the bucket list, but I'm going have to re-group with the finances after this summer...we'll see.
