The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
If you have seen more than one show at G woods, you know that you must beat it to your car before the final notes of the encore. That is what comes with that venue. I know that leaving toward the end of Walrus is a tough call. Personally, I love when they just mail in the encore at G Woods so I can get out without a guilty conscience...ie; Character Zero or Loving Cup or Coil encores always make it easy to bolt...
