The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Although these days i prefer to get a good ticket that allows me to be the closest possible the stage. which is the only reason i can justify totally freaking out about getting tickets with in the first minuet they are for sale
seems like for me its kinda like bad gambling or something. every time i get all worked up over scoring tickets to the shows i plan on seeing, the day the tickets go on sale, those are always the shows that i end up missing when the day comes.
so i have decided against my impulsive desire to just buy tickets right now during the first ticket release.
Instead i will surrender to the flow.
