The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
I ended up scoring 2 pits for Tuesday, from what I can tell in the on sale happened:
When tickets initially went on sale they had a set limit on the pits. After those sold within a few minutes they stopped selling them to try and force people to buy pavs/lawns. Then about 10-15 minutes in they released some more and again shut them off and repeated this process.
It's completely ridiculous and I'm pretty sure they do crap like that all the time to force people to buy other seats.
