The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
12/29 Tweezer - Just barely edges out this very nice Light. I also love the > from Light into Mike's. I agonized over this one. I think in the end, the Tweezer is just a bit "grander" than this Light.
7/24 Carini - I enjoy this funked up version of Carini, this was probably my easiest choice of the week
8/7 Disease - Another agonizing decision. The last couple minutes of this Disease is what puts it over the edge for me. It turns mysterious and spooky, like nothing I've heard the boys do before. It would fit in nicely with the soundtrack to "Stranger Things". I got a little tired of the "Party Time" jam in the Tweezer.
8/3 Carini - This wasn't too tough of a decision, but that Ghost is very nice, one of the best of the year, but this Carini, to me, is epic.
