The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

Yeah! Very new."
Very tight, this guitar player is great"

Sweet, I feel way better about my own guitar playing now that I know this guy has been playing live since he was 12 haha, thank you. Color me impressed, dude is a beast. This is the only recent jam band that makes me feel at all threatened when I compare it to my own band
Edit: On further review looks like basically everyone in that band has been playing since they were teenagers. Definitely will be a force to be reckoned with in this scene. By comparison my band has been together for about a year. I have only been playing lead since I was in college and my drummer and bassist have only been playing their respective instruments for a year.
We have become respectably tight but are not as good as these guys yet.
