The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
That is a controversial opinion but I dig it!! I would say these shows are a tick beneath my true top tier favorite shows witnessed (10/29/21, 10/28/21, 8/12/15, 7/13/14), because setlist flow is important to me & each of these nights had a few calls that didn't land 100%. But the sheer playing & quality of the music is absolutely up there for me. Really awesome stuff.
