The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Yeah, kind of hard to put into words the experience. Certainly transcends the term meal as it truly is a life experience, especially if you are familiar w the service industry and all its nuance. It’s like one magnificent work of art where every person knows exactly where you are at within the meal without any inner communication within the front of house staff.
The adrenaline dump I received once I landed the booking was unlike any ticket score I’ve ever experienced, and then two weeks later they announced that they would no longer be using the space as the traditional Noma facility and pivot to using the space as r&d for their products and focusing on international pop ups.
Truly a meal to form a vacation around.
