The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
A: They both suck without Cream.
Sorry couldn't resist."
Does coffee suck without Derek & the Dominos too?"
It begs to ask the ultimate question: What group was better Cream or Derek and the Dominos?
My money goes to Derek and the Dominos"YES!!! I adore them, Live at the Fillmore blew my nuts off...CLEAN OFF!!! Also, I saw the Clapton and Daltrey tour in Orlando. It's expensive, but the fact that I got to see Layla (acoustic, but who cares) live topped my list of deathy stuff.
In all seriousness, I'd recommend it; it was insane to just see him waltzing around, playing so slowly, but doing stuff you could never imagine; it was a short show however."
Derek and the Dominos Live at the Filmore is the shizzzzz"
Don't forget the stunning guitar work of Duane Allman, who imo is the reason I think Derek and the Dominos is better than Cream. C'mon he made the iconic riff to Layla!"
Agreed, although I don't think Duane played w/ them at the Filmore...Duane is the man, and if anyone hasn't heard disc 3 (the jam session) of the Derek and the Domino's box set, i HIGHLY recommend doing so.. Wow.
