And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
To enjoy what we like and stay away from what we don't? I'm going to the Vegas shows and am so stoked! Mayer has been killing it in my opinion and I dig it big time.
The problem with so many jam head purists (as I see it, anyways) is they wanna be so counter-culture and jam scene oriented that they reject most (if not all) mainstream musical variety. And that's fine, I just think it's a very limiting mindset to adopt. However, don't go hating on others with that mindset - in doing so, you've lowered yourself amongst the same group of people in which you (foolishly) feel you're superior to in whatever way (be it musical tastes, depth/intricacy of music, etc.).
