We saw a dude get busted with 2 or 3 tanks in the middle of the grassy area by the beach. Handcuffed and taken away. He was one of about 4 or 5 guys who were going to setup shop by a couple of bushes right by us, but it was pretty exposed / in the open. It happened very quickly. A few cops on foot and a few on bikes. This was about 6pm last night (Sunday.) On Saturday it was pretty out of hand with tanks going off all around, even in the area where people were vending and gathering (same central grassy area by the beach.) This is not to mention all over the museum campus along the sidewalks in the shadows. Last night it was getting really out of hand and many of the guys were dragging tanks around in the open. We saw a couple guys who had commandeered a huge green rolled garbage cart, and the tank was so big that the top of it was still sticking out of the lid.

When CPD took that guy away, they left 2 black duffel bags behind with small tanks. It was interesting to see random people checking them out but all of them wisely left it alone. Several minutes later a couple of the guys in black came back, scoped out the area for a bit, and then quickly grabbed the bags and dragged them away.

Needless to say it was pretty quiet in that central area for a long time after that.

By the way I thought this was really goofy too - many of the guys who were yelling out "WHIPPETS!" would also say "ICE COLD WHIPPETS!!" as if there is something special about that?
