The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Yes, a few years back they would release kegs to certain restaurants in my area. At that time I think they were only making 100 Younger kegs a year, or something like that. The place I was working for was lucky enough to get a keg. We had a line of about 50 people over an hour before the place opened on a Tuesday (80 person building capacity).
It was good, but I prefer Elder. If you're in my area I'd recommend Track-7 beers, as I believe they are putting out better beer than Russian River at the moment. Left Eye, Right Eye is probably the best double IPA I've come across.
