My question for YOU is 'Do you think all the money in the world will help you reverse global warming?' I'm not talking about man-made climate change. I'm talking about global warming. If the answer to the question is yes, then I think people should heed the proposals that include any technology to reverse this trend, and I would also demand to know why, if capable of stopping global warming, we couldn't also mitigate any human effects as well.

If the answer is 'no', then we are only biding time of course, and the money would be far better spent on NASA than the EPA. (finding a habitable replacement)

I have PLENTY to say. I'm about to graduate with my BS in environmental science, if you are ready to have a good faith discussion I was ready awhile ago. But you also bring Ben Garrison cartoons to the trump thread, so I'm not sure you really are.

You saying we cant stop "global warming" comes from the same propaganda that makes you think the climate is changing but humans aren't causing it. They talk about how drastically different CO2 levels were in the past, but ignore that these periods were millions and millions of years ago and these changes took place over long periods of time. I think you're trying to imply that these long term changes that we don't control mean that we shouldn't do anything to curb our emissions right now? That completley whiffs on the amount of greenhouse gases we have pumped into the atmosphere over the past century. These are HUGE changes in very short periods of time (again, millions of years is the norm). Things are going to change faster than you realize, and they already are! Asking if we can stop "global warming" (btw, hilariously defined by you) shows that you just don't have a grasp on these issues we are dealing with

It is incredibly naive to think we are going to be able to colonize another planet before we are hit hard by climate change, like cmon dude
