The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

"the justice Dems have some fringe members advocating craziness but for the most part, they are a welcome addition to the party. lately, some of them have been talking about primary-ing moderate Dems in swing districts. this the hight of plain f***ing stupid. It's one thing to launch a primary campaign in queens its another do it in rural PA or VA. "
Republicans had to do that in 2010 in several cases b/c the moderate Republicans were going to compromise with Obama, and the goal of the Republican insurgency was to slow his agenda, which worked to great effect. I don't think the Democrats have the same problems on their hands, b/c there isn't as big an issue with moderate dems supporting Trump. It isn't really unpopular to vote against him in congress. If anything i agree with you for this reason.
However.....if there's reason to believe a popular presidential candidate could pull a lot of down ballot votes in 2020, then why wouldn't the democrats want to stack the deck with leftists? "
Because the Democratic Party, or at least its central nervous system, does not want to move left. Seems kinda obvious.
I'm rolling my eyes at the "buhhhhh AOC and Trump are the same!!!!" nonsense, because riddle me this, Batman - who does Medicare For All benefit, and who does a big f***in' wall on the US/Mexico border benefit?"
But we can have arguments about it all here without insults or timeouts.. right ? "
What happened to @the_crested_hogchoker ? Did he get a time out for his great post ? Because he disagrees with the masses on this thread ? Not right @n00b100. "
