you don’t see a 99:1 split very often, that’s gonna skew some things. a very large portion of the people who say that aren’t persuadable to voting for a democrat to begin with.

anyway, despite your specific highlight, the most pertinent takeaway from that article and the poll it refers to is that a candidate needs to specifically reach out to the latino community to gain their votes. and there’s a link in your own article that shows that there’s somebody who’s doing just that.
