The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
I mean....
#3 2/21 IAWITW vs #2 6/21 Runaway Jim
I can't imagine there has been a better IAWITW jam. Because of the tremendous hose followed by the bonus effects-heavy jam at the end I can see why people would vote for it, but I kind of think the jamming on it is pretty average/standard. I think the jam on Jim was more interesting, inspired, and clean. A bit more noteworthy.
#1 6/19 Birds Of A Feather vs #4 6/11 Stash
Did not need multiple listens or to think much about it. This BOAF jam was top notch.
#3 7/2 Down With Disease vs #2 6/30 Twenty Years Later
Okay I am down with the hee haw and given the rarity of the 20YL jam I was inclined to go with it, but this disease is just too poppin. It's relentlessly dank. Close call tho because the hee haw jam toward the end of is such dripping bluesy-funk swaggitude. you know trey was savoring that tasty little two note lick and just couldn't stop. Whole band is vibing on it so nicely, it's almost cheating. Okay I'm gonna stop before i change my vote. I will be happy for either one to move on.
