The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

"Quitting your job and saving money seem like mutually exclusive decisions."
Save money first, get education second, quit job third, use a little critical thinking jeezus"
You can't save money on a min wage job in 2020. You're the one who is detatched from reality.
Go crawl back in your hole.
"
One, can if they make some sacrifices, eat raman, skip going to shows, save up, better yourself. "
If you're making $15,000 a year (full time yearly income for a minimum wage employee) how are you going to be able to save money (assuming you're not living with your parents rent/bill-free)? Even just renting a room at $600 a week is already half of that and that's not including food, car payment, gas, insurance, phone bill, etc."
nobody needs a smart phone, use public transportation, eat cheap food, get a room mate to help with rent, its not rocket science
