The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.

Grad school sucks, but it will end one day and a few years later you may even feel triumph for getting through. I survived by using Phish as a reward-write a chapter, go to SPAC, finish dissertation, go to Mexico, etc. If you can frame ter' as a reward for your hard work, it may help.
Are you in the writing up stage? (Sorry if this has been answered in the thread.) If so, try the pomodoro method every day for two weeks and you will be in a better place. I will buy you a lawn at the venue of your choice for an approved chapter! Perhaps others on this forum will pitch in to help you achieve your Phish goals and your degree...
