The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
I have a guided touring trip in BC in late March so want to get some touring days in, transitioning the splitboard, getting efficent with the gear, process and overall approach.
Been thinking about getting off resort for a long time and looking forward to the new adventure. Also definately want to be smart, respect the mtns and what can happen, etc, so at the same time want to learn all about snow safety and staying conservative.
Always enjoy the .net ski thread each winter so thought would throw this out in here. If anyone is like-minded and wouldn't mind new company (I'm an avid boarder and love adventure), pls lmk. Looking forward to a great winter for all!
