The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
I can't in good conscience let a man throw himself into a furnace without at least trying to dissuade him.
In 2017 I had tickets to see the entire run of the Baker's Dozen. I gave up my Tues/Weds for reasons not dissimilar to what you mention. I came to regret it.
My humble opinion is that a rough travel day is a small price to pay for whatever Phish is going to do on Sunday.
It will be their 83rd show at MSG. 40th anniversary year. Formed in 1983. They are on fire this run! and even if it's not Gamehenge... there's a better than average chance I think that it's gonna likely be one for the ages.
Also, I think 12/31/22 was musically on fire. Best 12/31 in the last 20+ years imho. Phish is always trying to outdo themselves, and they deliver quite a lot these days.
It's not too late....
