And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Wouldn’t it be great if they opened a show Mike’s Song, encoded with Weekapaug, but the whole show was ALL Mike tunes including a Minkin bustout?
Would be a divisive show, but man it would be legendary. I dig Mike so I’m there for it. He does great covers too. Love his vocals on the bluegrass tunes like Old Home Place, Shake Your Hips (Exile), Old Folks Boogie (Little Feat), Skin it Back (Little Feat), Mercenary Territory (Little Feat), Starman (Bowie), The Way It Goes (Gillian Welch), and from his solo band his Time (The Revelator) (Gillian Welch) cover is very beautiful. Then throw in Fikus from Ghost, Weigh, Mound, NO2, f*** Your Face, Round Room, Mock Song, Access Me, Sugar Shack, Waking Up Dead, 555, Contact, you get the point.
The band takes show requests from phans right?
