The Mockingbird Foundation
The Mockingbird Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Phish fans in 1996 to generate charitable proceeds from the Phish community.
And since we’re entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we’ve distributed over $1,000,000 to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
My brother and I both scored tickets in the lottery for Seattle. I tried to sell my tickets through TM but got a message saying "Resale for this event has not been turned on by the Event Organizer. Please check back again as this may change."
I did receive the "you're in" email and I confirmed the tickets are in my account. I also noticed that the FAQ for selling tickets says "If you receive a message that the Event Organizer hasn’t activated resale, your tickets aren’t eligible for resale or Ticketmaster isn't the primary ticket provider."
Basically the same message for transferring tickets.
So is Phish the primary ticket provider? Will these tix be available to sell or transfer at some point?
Could be a big deal for anyone selling or looking to buy tickets through fans here, or on CoT, etc.
